Blue October is an American rock band originally from Huston, Texas. The band formed in 1995 and currently consists of Justin Furstenfeld, Jeremy Furstenfeld, Ryan Dalahoussaye, C.B. Hudson, and Matt Noveskey.
Blue October formed by lead singer Justin Furstenfeld, his brother, and Delahoussaye. They were discovered by former Kid Rock manager Michael Rand. His agency proceeded to book over 350 dates on the group unsigned. Extensive publicity and artist development was regimented. The band eventually was led into the hands of Universal Music Group CEO Doug Morris.
The band finished recording their new album in spring of 2013. The first single “Bleed Out,” was released later that summer. The album received positive critical acclaim from Music Eyz saying, “it’s easy to see that our favorite tormented soul is on the mend and still creating some of the most powerful and emotional music out there.”
