DRGN King @ World Cafe Live 1/9

This Friday, DRGN King will take over the World Cafe Live stage for the return of the weekly Free at Noon series. For those of you who may not be familiar, each Friday at noon, WXPN hosts a free concert. The artists perform a few songs and chat with the crowd. This is hands down the best way to spend your Friday lunch break in Philly. Or, better yet, take the whole day off and explore the city afterwards!

This week, Philly music fans will be treated to the sounds of local duo DRGN King. They released their sophomore album, Baltimore Crush, back in October to rave reviews. The album strays away from some of the sounds we heard on their debut album, Paragrah Nights. You’ll definitely want to take a listen to the new material, and hear it for yourself when Dom Angelella and Brent Reynolds head to WCL to play this week’s Free at Noon.

Can’t make it to the show? Don’t worry, the boys will be back. In fact, we already told you about their February show at Johnny Brenda’s. So if you can’t make it to this week’s Free at Noon, definitely be sure to grab your tickets for their next Philly performance.
