Florence and The Machine are working on releasing a new album, which would be their follow-up to 2011’s Ceremonials.
As Consequence of Sound reports, a fansite called Florence and The Machine Army posted a photo implying that the album is finished being recorded and is now in the process of being mixed. The forthcoming album has a name, but it has been hidden by a Sharpie in the aforementioned photo. All of this speculation matches up with a statement by Florence herself in June 2014, when she said they were in the studio “24 hours a day.”
The band also performed at Neil Young’s charity event, the Bridge School Benefit Concert, in October. They have upcoming shows at Coachella 2015 and Sweden’s Way Out West Fest in 2015 as well.
