This week, California-based rapper Lil B posted a photo of himself in a room with Frank Ocean that has sparked intrigue.
Lil B posted this photo to his Dior Paint Tumblr with the caption, “RARE photo of LIL B x FRANK OCEAN IN THE STUDIO TOGETHER!! NEW MUSIC COMING SOON! Collect this! – Lil B”.

At this time, any additional information regarding this possible collaboration is limited, according to Pitchfork And, neither artist has provided insight about where, or when, this work may appear. In light of this, mxdwn cannot independently verify that Lil B and Frank Ocean have collaborated, or plan to collaborate, on new studio material.
Pitchfork also is reporting that Frank Ocean is working to finish a follow up album to his 2012 release, Channel Orange, with Hit-Boy and Rodney Jerkins taking part. And, on a more unfortunate note, Ocean is one of three artists – along with Jay Z and Kanye West – that is being sued for alleged copyright infringement by a New York-based musician, who claims their song “Made In America” has a striking similarity to his own song bearing the same title.
