To keep fans satisfied following her critically acclaimed album Burn Your Fire for No Witness, Angel Olsen has released a new song “May As Well.” The new song appears on the deluxe version of Burn Your Fire for No Witness, which was released on November 18.

“May As Well” maintains Olsen’s reputation for displaying both her vocal range and gentle grace in transforming a melody. Once again, she takes familiar folksy territory and mines it for new and evocative emotional material.

The song is one of five unreleased recordings which were added to the deluxe reissue of Burn Your Fire for No Witness, providing fans of the St. Louis-born singer with even more of great thing.

Olsen is coming off a breakout year, with Burn Your Fire for No Witness being named one of mxdwn’s Albums of the Year, while her song “Hi-Five” was named one of mxdwn’s Songs of the Year.

She has also been busy lately, appearing at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest. She also recently released a new video for “Windows,” which was also very well received.
