One of hip hop’s biggest names of the year just so happens to be from as white girl from Australia. Under the watchful arm of executive producer and mentor T.I., Iggy has earned herself 4 nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards. Her nominations include ones for Best New Artist as well as Record of the Year. And amidst all of her current popularity and accolades, Iggy Izalea is head out of a tour this spring.
The Great Escape Tour will kick off in April in California. And Azalea will make her way to Philly come May. On May 10th, Iggy Azalea will perform at the Wells Fargo Center. She’ll be touring along with fellow Jingle Ball tourmate, Nick Jonas. The recently solo artist has also been experiencing a ton of radio play with his hit single, “Jealous.”
In addition to Nick Jonas, Iggy Azalea’s tour will also come with support fromDJ Wizz Kid and rising talent Tinashe. She released the first single from her debut album back in January of this year. The song featured Schoolyboy Q with production from DJ Mustard. Her debut album, Aquarius, dropped in October. Tinashe also features on a remix of Nick Jonas’s track “Jealous.”
