One of the most stylish and inspiring artists of 2014 – Charli XCX – has released a shiny and lively music video for “Breaking Up,” one of the leading singles off her sophomore record Sucker, out December 15 via Asylum/Atlantic/Neon Gold, as reported by Stereogum.
The song, delivered fortnight before the album release, has given a feeling of freedom and riot youth; the video has maintained and elevated those impressions. Charli and dozen of girlfriends hit the bowling alley, being cool and ruthless. Bondage, a lot of leopard dresses and an atmosphere of fun – all of this in the new clip.
Refusing to be trivial, Charli who has been nominated for Grammy along with Iggy Azalea, gives a fresh start to modern vanilla pop music with her explosive temper and charisma. Enjoy the lively motive in the video for “Breaking Up” below.
