SoCal band The Mowgli’s are headed our way again for a headlining concert. They’ll be touring this winter/spring in support of their to be released new album. They’ll head out on their tour on March 25th, kicking things off in San Francisco, which coincidentally is also the name of their hit single. They’ll head to Philly on April 17th with a performance at Union Transfer. And they’ll be bringing along support from Fences and Hippo Campus. Grab your tickets now and head to UT this upcoming April!
The Mowgli’s first released music back in 2010. That was the first time audiences got a taste of “San Francisco” and “The Great Divide.” They spent 2010 performing as often as possible, often with as many as 5 gigs in one day. In 2011, they were hard at work recording their debut LP Sound the Drum. They independently released the LP in May of 2012, where it began to gain some steam on college radio.
By 2013, the band was headed to SXSW and their single “San Francisco” was gaining more and more radio play, hitting the number 1 spot on Alt Nation. Throughout 2013, they toured the country 3 times, stopping along the way at several festivals including ACL, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza. They released their major label debut, Waiting for the Dawn, in June of 2013. The album found its way to the #4 on Billboard‘s Heatseekers Chart. In 2014, they were part of the Honda Civic tour with American Authors, Echosmith, and Oh Honey. Their newest release is due out in the spring of 2015, just in time for the upcoming tour.
