Saosin is an American rock band that originally formed in Newport Beach, California. The band formed in 2003 and recorded their first EP, Translating the Name, with their original singer Anthony Green. Green left the band after signing with a commercial label Capitol Reords. The bands vocalist Cove Reber took over as the front man as the band recorded their self-titled debut album. Their second release, In Search of Solid Ground, was released in 2009 on Virgin Records. Recently, Saosin stated on Twitter that they have parted ways with Virgin records and are going back into a DIY direction.

Green was interviewed by Alternative Press regarding his former group, Saosin, celebrating their ten year anniversary of Translating The Name EP. Green was asked if he would ever rejoin Saosin, he said “I love those songs and I love singing “Seven Years” when I play solo. I’m not opposed to talking about doing anything in the future. If the timing was right and it was for the right reasons, then I think it could be something really special.”

Saosin will play four shows with their original band lineup; three shows in Texas and one in California. See them in Austin while you can!
