Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah has unveiled a new video for “Love Don’t Live Here No More,” a track off of his solo 36 Seasons LP.
After announcing a collaboration with Canadian musical trio BadBadNotGood on their latest album set for release February 15, releasing three new songs for Wu-Tang Clan’s A Better Tomorrow (“Ruckus In B Minor,” “Necklace” and “A Better Tomorrow”), performing at Vice’s invite-only 20th birthday bash and revealing plans for a joint LP titled Hidden Gems with LOX’s Sheek Louch, Ghostface Killah has also unveiled a video for “Love Don’t Live Here No More” featuring Kandace Springs, a track from his solo 36 Seasons LP.
The album’s premise features Ghostface Killah, aka Tony Starks, returning from a nine-year stint in prison on Staten Island, which totals 36 seasons. During his return home, he discovers that his girl has taken up with a local drug kingpin (portrayed by Kool G Rap) and his former running buddy (voiced by AZ). Unwavering in his plan to eradicate the evil in the streets, he is forced to get his hands dirty but finds himself back in jail after being deceived by those whom he trusted.
The video depicts the events that culminate after Starks’ long-awaited return from prison. It stars actor Michael K. Williams (The Wire, Boardwalk Empire) and is directed by Dan “The Man” Melamid. Watch the video below via Complex.
