They Might Be Giants Announce Dial-A-Song Project Featuring 52 New Tracks In 52 Weeks

They Might Be Giants plan to revisit their innovative Dial-A-Song project in 2015.

With two album releases and a national and international tour in their future, Massachusetts-bred They Might Be Giants have an exciting year ahead.

They Might Be Giants’ renowned innovation Dial-A-Song will see a return in 2015. Dial-A-Song, originally launched in 1983 out of John Flansburgh’s Brooklyn residence, will present listeners with 52 new recordings in 52 weeks. The new tracks will debut every Monday night on Slate’s “The Gist” podcast with Mike Pesca. The tracks will be available on the site, YouTube, iTunes, and other digital retailers the following Tuesday morning. Songs will also be played on over 100 radio stations via the Dial-A-Song Radio Network.

Early confirmed song titles include: “Madam, I Challenge You to A Duel,” “Music Jail Pt. 1&2,” “Underwater Woman,” “Unpronounceable,” “Let Me Tell You About My Operation,” “End of the Rope,” and “Hate the Villanelle.”
