Girl Talk & Freeway Release New Video for “Lived It”

After releasing videos for three of the six songs off their collaborative Broken Ankles EP, Girl Talk and Freeway have released a video for the final song on the album, “Lived It.”

Directed by Jimmy Giambrone, the video offers viewers an in depth look at several iconic places that typify Freeway’s hometown of Philadelphia. Since Girl Talk (aka Greg Gillis) hails from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, the collaboration and this video in particular are something of a hometown love letter for both artists. After we follow Freeway around Philadelphia, the video ends with both artists performing before a sea of fans in an open air setting.

Released on April 8, Broken Ankles was released for free on DatPiff, featuring guest appearances from Waka Flocka Flame, Young Chris and Jadakiss.

Girl Talk also just played the Fun Fun Fun festival in Austin, Texas this past November.
