Speed metal flys southeast this winter as Richmond, Virginia’s Municipal Waste announces 7 shows in the region beginning January 15, featuring support from Torche and Night Birds.

Municipal Waste, who recall heavy metal’s headbanging heyday, will start off their tour in Baltimore, MD, and end it on January 21 in Miami, FL. The week-long tour promises a gig a night in different cities across the region. For support, Municipal Waste has tapped heavy rocking Floridians Torche, as well as New Jerseyite punks Night Birds. Recently, Municipal Waste played the Heavy Montreal festival along such thrash metal legends as Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax.
