Nashville based singer, Mat Kearney is headed out on a new tour this winter in support of his upcoming album. The album, to be released via Republic Records, drops on February 24. The tour will kick off immediately after, beginning on March 5 in Spokane, Washington. Kearney will make his way to Philadelphia by March 27th when he’ll appear at Union Transfer. And fans can grab tickets this Friday when they go on sale at noon.
The singer-songwriter’s new album is called Just Kids, and marks his fourth major-label full-length release. Take a listen to his newly released track “Heartbeat” and then grab your tickets to see Kearney when he takes the stage at UT this March. And if you still need a bit of incentive to convince you to attend the show every pair of tickets purchased includes a digital download of the new album.
Support for the upcoming UT show includes Judah & the Lion and Parachute. Parachute has been touring since 2006. They released their debut album in 2009 and their second it 2011. In August of last year, the band released their third album, Overnight. The album was their highest reaching, hitting number 15 on the US Billboard 200. Since their 2013 release, the bands been busy touring in support of the album with a slew of different artists. And this March, they’ll join Mat Kearney at Union Transfer.
