No limits for Prince – The Purple One has decided to crash a spontaneous solo at the W Hollywood Hotel’s jazz night for Beatles’ classic “With a Little Help From My Friends” on Sunday, November 30, and no one could stop him.
Realizing how cool he is, the pop legend made a really good two-minute guitar performance, accompanied by the band. Like every other music god, Prince perfectly knows how to use his authority to leave people with open mouths, not even saying a word. Prince has done his job and left without waving goodbye to the audience.
As reported by Rolling Stone, in October, Prince brought that same intensity to the SNL stage, performing an eight-minute medley of new material from his two 2014 studio albums, Plectrumelectrum and Art Official Age. Earlier that month, he also filmed a Yahoo! livestream special from his famed Paisley Park recording studio complex, recruiting rapper Kendrick Lamar for a surprising and unrehearsed guest verse on the 1998 rarity “What’s My Name.” Well, that’s what Prince has always been absolutely brilliant in – surprising.
