Being broke doesn’t mean you can’t ask for help not even from your fans if you’re a celebrity. But none of that matters once you have a genuine need of extra assistance. The former singer of American rock band Faith No More, Chuck Mosley, has been asking for financial support from his fans.
In recent Facebook posts, Chuck Mosley has been asking his fans to send donations to his Paypal account due to a serious lack of financial resources. The singer claims that he is completely broke and needs help from his fans. According to Blabbermouth and as stated in his posts, the singer is at risk of being evicted from the house he has been living in for the past 10 years, if he doesn’t raise the proper amount of money to continue living there.
Mosley explains in his posts that he has been struggling financially for some time and that being a famous musician does not guarantee being rich. He also explains his issue with his landlord forcing him to leave his house and the band not being able to tour and produce another album due to not having enough money. He states:
The shocking truth is that i’m not rich. We struggle every day, just like most everybody, more, right now, worse than ever, in a long time…
Our landlord wants to sell the house we’ve lived in for ten years, and yes, we are behind in our rent, so he’s using that as leverage to get us out so he can fix up and sell, right away, Technically, we’re supposed to be out today, December 3rd, but he’s deciding whether to give us another week. So here I am, for my family, on my knees, asking for help…
Our band, VUA, has had to put off trying to tour or play any shows. We’re starting to record new stuff, but even that is suffering at the hands of my family’s financial situation, so, please, if you can, help. We will be eternally greatful and I will be eternally self loathing for having to be at this level…
Mosley goes on to say that he would love to be able to do things in return for donations like giving away signed copies of past albums, selling a digital format of the song ‘Demosforsale’ for $1, and even producing new material for his campaign ‘Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food.’ He later posts again to his Facebook thanking everyone for their support.
We are overwhelmed by your support. I hate asking for help.
