This Friday, be sure to grab your tickets to see Bad Suns when they play at Union Transfer. They’ll hit the stage on February 16th, just a few months after their most recent appearance here in Philadelphia. This time though the band will be headlining the stage at UT. Tickets go on sale at 10 AM on Friday, December 5th so don’t miss your opportunity to grab tickets for what is sure to be a fun night of music with Bad Suns featuring support from Coasts and Maudlin Strangers.
The California group, Bad Suns, formed back in 2012, but didn’t release their debut album until 2014. Languages & Perspective dropped in June of this year throught Vagrant Records. In addition to touring with The 1975, Bad Suns also embarked on a brief tour headlining of their own this summer. They also performed with New Politics just this past weekend. Yet, despite a year of extensive touring, the band shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. They’ll begin a winter tour this January, arriving in Philly by February 16th.
Earlier this year the band released their debut EP, Transpose. Following the successful release of the EP, they released their debut album. And it’s meant to be received in exactly that form. Lead singer, Cristo Bowman, expressed the band’s desire to create their art “with the long play for men in mind.” We fell for the band back at SXSW when they performed their hit single “Cardiac Arrest.” To hear that and many more new songs, head to UT this February and catch Bad Suns when they take the stage.
