Black Friday Special Music Releases You Should Buy

If you don’t want to wait in line to buy a new tv, tons of new music will be released on Black Friday.

Black Friday is not just about getting deals on electronics and clothes, tons of new music will be released. Record Store Day’s Black Friday releases are sure to keep the music lover happy. Here are some of the releases to look out for:

Faith No More – After more than 18 years with no new material, Faith No More will be releasing a 7″ vinyl with their song, “Motherfucker” which will also include a remix. It will be a RSD first release and only 5,000 copies will be made available.

St. Vincent – St. Vincent will be releasing her EP, Pieta, on a 10″ record. On the A-side if will feature the song “Pieta” and on the B-side it will have the song “Sparrow.” It will be a RSD exclusive release.

The Strokes – For a limited time, The Strokes have released their complete discography vinyl bundle. It will include their albums, Is This It, Room on Fire, First Impressions of Earth, Angles, and Comedown Machine.

The Flaming Lips – Previously released as a CD under the pseudonym Imagene Peise, The Flaming Lips will release, Atlas Eets Christmas, on vinyl. The 12″ will come with 11 songs, some which are Christmas classics such as, “Silent Night.” This album will be a RSD exclusive release.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1 – After the extreme success of the movie, the mix will be released on Black Friday on a cassette tape, keeping the authenticity of the classic tunes, driven soundtrack. From David Bowie to Marvin Gaye, this cassette will bring Star Lord’s mix to life.

Aaliyah – Almost twenty years ago, Aaliyah’s album, Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number, dropped. Her memory lives on in this 12″ colored vinyl which includes her top hits and the rare international bonus track, “The Thing I Like.”

CHVRCHES – For this RSD exclusive release, CHVRCHES will be releasing a 12″ color vinyl of Under the Tide. In includes five tracks including the title song and “Strong Hand” which has never been released physically in the US.

Frozen – Whether you love it or hate it, a 7″ picture disc for Frozen will be released. The collectible holiday vinyl will include the songs, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” and “In Summer.”
