Little Boots entrances us once again with two more tracks off of her forthcoming EP Business Pleasure.
In anticipation of her new EP Business Pleasure scheduled to hit stores December 1, Victoria Hesketh of Little Boots has released an additional two tracks. This follows Hesketh’s previous release of the EP’s first track, “Taste It,” accompanied by Ish Sahotay’s thought-provoking, albeit frighteningly disconcerting video.
“Pretty Tough” is moody. It’s dark. It’s mesmerizing. Hesketh’s hypnotic vocals repeat: “If I was so innocent would I be your prisoner?” over an entrancingly smooth, synth-heavy production.
In contrast to “Pretty Tough,” “Heroine” provides a more up-tempo, deep house tune. Hesketh alluringly sings: “You were my hero, I was your heroine…” in the chorus of this dreamy track.
