Neil Diamond is and American singer-songwriter who started his career in music in the 1960s. Diamond has sold over 125 million records worldwide, making him one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time. He is the third most successful adult contemporary artist on the Billboard Charts behind Elton John and Barbra Streisand.
Diamond was inducted into the Songwriter Hall of Fame in 1984 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. He has had 10 number one singles on the Hot 100 charts, and Adult Contemporary charts including “Cracklin’ Rose,” “Song Sung Blue,” “Longfellow Serenade,” “I’ve Been This Way Before” and many others. Do this day he still continues to record and release new material.
Recently in Diamonds career, it was confirmed he signed with the Capitol Music Group. With them he released his latest album, Melody Road, which was released in October of this year. The album hit number three on the Billboard Charts, and consisted of three singles, “The Art of Love,” “Something Blue,” and “Nothing But Heartache.”
