WATCH: Members Of Chvrches And Bleachers Cover Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way”

Lauren Mayberry of Cvrches joined Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff for a rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s classic “Go Your Own Way.”

VH1’s “You Oughta Know” concert in New York City played host to several artists including Tove Lo, Sam Smith, Chvrches, and Bleachers. On one particularly memorable moment, Lauren Mayberry of Cvrches hopped on stage alongside Jack Antonoff of Bleachers for a rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way,” from the Mac’s landmark legendary 1978 album Rumours. Essentially what this performance is attempting to do is split Fleetwood Mac’s guitarist Lindsey Buckingham into two people. Antonoff is meant to be the guitarist side of Buckingham, and Mayberry is meant to be some sort of cross-breed of Buckingham’s vocals and Stevie Nicks’ vocals. They fill their roles quite well, getting the crowd into the what turns out to be the closing number of the show.
