This week, Asking Alexandria announced dates for a North American tour, which is set to kick off later this month.

Right now, the U.K.-based band is in the midst of a U.K. and European tour, but they will be heading out on an American and Canadian tour that will start on November 28th in Tucson, Arizona and wrap up in Wilmington, North Carolina, on December 20th, 2014.
In addition to the shows in Arizona and North Carolina, the band has lined up dates in California, Oregon, and Washington (state). Then, they will go into Canada and give concerts in the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Québec, and Ontario, before re-entering the States to wrap up the tour with a series shows in Ohio, New York, Connecticut and Virginia.
This tour will feature music from the band’s three albums, including 2013’s “From Death to Destiny”, which is doing well in the U.S. music charts. According to a press release about the tour, “From Death to Destiny” debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart, #1 on the Independent Albums Chart, and launched three Top 20 Active Rock singles in a row – “The Death of Me”, “Break Down The Walls”, and most recently the heartfelt track, “Moving On”. “Moving On”, the third single off of the album, has reached #15 this week and continues to climb the charts, making it Asking Alexandria’s highest charting single to date.
In the tour press release, Alternative Press describes Asking Alexandria’s sound as one that, “blurs the lines between solipsism and sociopathy, hedonism and nihilism, even as it throws metalcore, electronic music and a healthy dose of hair metal into a blender set on ‘awesome.’”
