As mentioned in the November 11 update of the “Foo Fighters Ennounce Summer 2015 Tour Dates,” the Foo Fighters have scheduled special show at The Roxy this Friday, November 14th. The special show will celebrate Dave Grol’s L.A. episode of Sonic Highways, the docuseries that currently airs on HBO. So how do you get in!? Amoeba Music is hosting a contest, and all winners will be receive a pair of tickets. The contest will close Thursday, November 13, at 12 p.m.
The Foo Fighters are an American Rock band that formed in Seattle in 1994. Dave Grohl, the drummer of Nirvana started it as a side project following the death of Kurt Cobain. Throughout the Foo Fighters history as a band, they have gained massive success. Four of their albums have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album. The bands seven albums have sold a combine total of 11.1 million copies.
