Echosmith is an American indie pop band that formed in 2009 from Toluca Lake, Los Angeles. The band is composed of four siblings: Graham, Sydney, Noah, and Jamie Sierota. Sydney (only 17 years old) is the lead vocalist for the band, who often contributes sounds on the tambourine and keyboard. Noah (18) plays bass and sings back-up vocals for the band. The oldest member, Jamie (21), sings and plays guitar.
The four signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2012. Echosmith’s debut album, Talking Dreams, was released year later in October of 2013. They made their late night TV premiere in summer of this year, and performed the top single “Cool Kids” on Conan. They released an acoustic EP titled, Acoustic Dreams, which featured acoustic versions of songs on their debut.
They are known for their biggest hit “Cool Kids” which reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their first single was titled “Tonight We’re Making History” which was released in 2012.
