One of the biggest buzz bands from Philly, The Lawsuits, will be taking over the stage this January. They’ll be performing at Boot & Saddle on January 10th, with special guests Kingsley Flood. And at only $10 this is a MUST SEE! The Lawsuits had their own EP release show at Johnny Brenda’s back in September. Tumbled dropped on September 23rd. The Lawsuits got their start back in 201o, playing small clubs across the area. Then in 2012, they performed at the 22nd Annual Concerts in the Park, as well as the WHYY Connections Festival. And in 2013, The Lawsuits were named Philadelphia Indie Band of the Year at the Tri-State Indie Awards. They released Cool Cool Cool in October of 2013, and with that the band began gaining widespread national acclaim.
Support for the January show will come in the form of Kingsley Flood, a Boston/DC based 6-piece. They released their first full-length back in 2010. In February of 2013, they released Battles. The January date will be their Philly-EP release show. The Lawsuits will then support Kinglsey Flood a few weeks later for their own hometown show in Cambridge, MA.
