This Friday, you’ll want to spend your lunch break at World Cafe Live. Head over at noon to see Parquet Courts when they take over the stage for this week’s Free at Noon concert. What better way to spend some time away from work then with a free concert? And this week’s event is shaping up to be a great time.
This weekend you can also catch the band when they perform a special show at PhilaMOCA. That show will have them performing under the name Parkay Quarts. That show will go down this Saturday, but unfortunately it has long been sold out. So, if you weren’t one of the lucky few to grab tickets, you’ll absolutely want to spend your Friday afternoon seeing them perform FOR FREE at World Cafe Live. Be sure to RSVP before you go.
And just this week, R5 Productions announced yet another chance to see the Brooklyn band. They’ll be playing the First Unitarian Church next year, taking the stage on February 8th. Like all of their other appearances in Philly, the Church gig is sure to be very popular, so be sure to grab your tickets early if you plan to attend. In the meantime, you can check out the band’s latest LP Sunbathing Animals. The band’s 3rd studio album reached #55 on the Billboard charts.
