Jhené Aiko @ Electric Factory 12/5

This December, you’ll definitely want to head to The Electric Factory for a special night of music headlined by Jhené Aiko. Jhené will be bringing along openers SZA and The Internet to round out the bill on her Enter The Void Tour. The tour will kick off on December on December 2nd in Maryland, and Aiko and friends will make their way to Philly on December 5th. You can catch her when she hits the stage at the Electric Factory!

Fans should be excited to see Aiko perform in a headlining role, after he recent accompanying of artists like Drake and The Weeknd. She was part of a brief tour throughout September and October with The Weeknd and Schoolboy Q. This fall has been a busy time for the rising star, having released her debut studio album on September 9th. Souled Out was one of the most anticipated albums of the year.

In addition to seeing headliner Jhené Aiko, attendees at the December 5th show at The Electric Factory will have the pleasure of seeing supporting acts SZA and The Internet. In 2013, SZA signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, and released performed (along with the rest of the crew) at LA’s version of Made in America. Like Jhené Aiko, SZA is another artist being dubbed PBR&B. She released her EP Z in April of this year. It debuted at number 39 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at number 9 on the US Hip-Hop/R&B Chart. You will not want to miss her set. Along with SZA, The Internet will also be providing support for Jhené Aiko. The Internet is a soul band that also happens to be an Odd Future affiliate, featuring Odd Future members Syd the Kid and Matt Martians. The formed back in 2011 and released their debut album at the end of that year. Their second album came in 2013. They are hard at work on their third album, which expected to drop next year.
