The Hunts have released a video for their new song “Remember Us”.
The band is made up of seven siblings who play various instruments like the piano, ukulele, banjo, drums, and they can all play violin and sing. They collaborated to create indie-folk songs. Their debut EP Life Was Simple is out now and includes the song “Remember Us”.
“Remember Us” has a sweet melody and you can sense the longing and reflection in the tune as well as the lyrics. The video portrays the siblings playing their instruments and singing in a wooded area. The simple atmosphere which focuses on their playing in the sunlight works well with the song.
“And held your freedom fight above health and wealth and life itself,” sings the group.
The harmony of voices is lovely and the many instruments really complement each other well.
“And wash my war paint away,” they all sing as the song fades out.
