The 4th Annual Decibel Magazine Tour will commence on March 27th, kicking off in LA. The tour will hit 15 stops, with Philadelphia being the second to last stop on the bill, right before they end things in NYC on April 12th. This year’s event goes down at Union Transfer on April 11th. You can grab tickets now.
This year’s Decibel Magazine Tour boasts 3 headliners, At the Gates, Converge, and Vallenfyre, with a TBA Special Guest listed as well. Decibel Magazine has promised to announced the special opener this December – so keep an eye out for that. The event prides itself on being “the extreme destination of the spring, bringing metalheads a thoughtfully curated lineup that celebrates the genre’s proud and diverse global legacy.”
And this year is no different. With the 4th year of the tour bringing artists from all across the globe. Starting with Sweden’s At the Gates, and adding US-based Converge, and Vallenfyre from the UK. In January of this year, At the Gates released their first album in 19 years, At War with Reality. In speaking on their addition to the lineup, frontman Tomas Lindberg said, “The most releveant hardcore band on the planet and the fiercest old-school death metal band on the same night as us? Excited!”
