The Pains of Being Pure at Heart just released a video for their song “Kelly”.
“Kelly” was on the indie pop band’s last album Days of Abandon, which came out in May.
The video is quite simple. Disco lights flash as the band plays the song. It’s entertaining enough to watch the band play their instruments and sing.
It gives a vibe of a dance or a night out in the ’70s. The chorus is catchy, the song is sweet, and the lyrics and the voices are pure with little amplification or dress up.
The video was shot by Art Boonparn.
The band is currently on tour. They also recently came out with a deluxe edition of Days of Abandon, which has five bonus tracks.
