Radio Silence, San Francisco-based award-winning magazine of literature and rock & roll, is throwing a grand party in NYC at the end of November. With a heap of special people.
The event, dedicated to Radio Silence’s launch of the third print issue, will be taking place on November 22nd, 2014 at Le Poisson Rouge, New York, and features short performances and collaborations of music and literature, including members of The Magnetic Fields and The Breeders, as well as outstanding authors and rock critics.
According to the press release, every attendee will receive a copy of the new 180-page issue of Radio Silence, which includes original work by twenty-two renowned musicians and authors, including a first-time-ever memoir by Lucinda Williams, a conversation between Carrie Brownstein and Daniel Handler (a.k.a. Lemony Snicket), short fiction by playwright David Ives, a new poem by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paul Muldoon, an interview with punk legend Ian MacKaye, essays by Rick Moody and Greil Marcus, and a conversation between Tobias Wolff and his jazz musician son Patrick Wolff.
