WATCH: TV On The Radio Perform New Song “Could You”

The indie rock band performed their new song live at the Santa Barbara Bowl.

Live from the Santa Barbara Bowl, TV on the Radio performs their new song, “Could You.” The song is off their fifth album, the upcoming Seeds. The album will be out November 18.

TV on the Radio is an American indie rock band that had its beginnings in Brooklyn, 2001. The group has had several EPs since then, and four acclaimed studio albums. The band features Tunde Adebimpe on vocals, David Andrew Sitek on guitars/keyboards, Kyp Malone on vocals/guitars/bass, and Jaleel Bunton on drums/vocals/guitars. Gerard Smith, who was the band’s bassist and keyboardist, died of lung cancer in 2011. The band has collaborated with David Bowie, Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Trent Reznor, Kazu Makino, Martin Perna, and Katrina Ford.

This new song is upbeat and features plenty of harmonization and rock instrumentals. The video shows the band on stage, all very still and serious, but very into the music nonetheless. The last song TV on the Radio released was “Careful You,” which you can listen to here. They also released a video for their song “Happy Idiot” earlier this month.
