Queen has released a trailer providing samples of the three new unreleased recordings that will feature on their upcoming compilation Queen Forever.
It’s difficult to believe that legendary Queen front man Freddie Mercury has been dead for almost twenty-three years, especially in light of the three new samples that have been revealed in the trailer. The tracks, which have never before been released, have been reworked and retooled in such a way that it feels as though the tracks are fresh out of a recording studio today. Featured in the trailer for the new compliation are brief glimpses into “Love Kills,” “Let Me In Your Heart Again,” and “There Must Be More To Life Than This,” the latter of which is a duet between Mercury and Michael Jackson. Although the samples are only a few seconds each, the power and sound of the previously unreleased recordings sound absolutely fantastic, and I for one can’t wait to get a hold of the upcoming compilation.
Alongside the sample trailer came the announcement that Live In Montreal, a famous 1981 concert film, will be released shortly after the release of the new compilation. Queen Forever is due for release on November 10.
