PHOTOS: DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist, Live at the Palladium

Dj Shadow and Cut Chemist performed at The Palladium on October 3rd. LA was one of the last stops on their “Renegades of Rhythm’ tour during which they’ve been spinning only records from the collection of Afrika Bambaataa. They played the records in chronological order stopping intermittently to talk about the history of hip-hop and Babmbaataa’s influence on the scene at the time.

Edan and Paten Locke opened with a somewhat whimsical including guitar and kazoo playing.
