The Swedish band Icona Pop will be involved in REVERB’s 14th Campus Consciousness Tour this fall.
Campus Consciousness Tour is a music tour as well as an environmental campaign. The environmental non profit REVERB runs this tour and their goal is to get musicians and their fans to take action to help save the environment. This semester there is also a focus on recognizing female student leaders on college campuses.
Swedish DJ duo, Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo, have expressed their excitement in being involved with something this important.
The two will help recognize and celebrate the work of various female leaders on college campuses. Then in the evenings they will perform a concert.
Icona Pop was recently featured in Cobra Starship’s song “Never Been in Love,” which was released at the end of August.
You can listen to a new song the band released over the summer called “Get Lost” here.
