LISTEN: Saint Pepsi Remixes Drake’s Worst Behavior

Drake released “Worst Behavior” back in 2013, but listening to Saint Pepsi’s remix, you’d think the song somehow came out in the late seventies.

Saint Pepsi has made quite a name for himself, remixing songs to such a degree that they sound almost nothing like the original. He certainly continues that trend here, as his remix for Drake’s “Worst Behavior” sounds so far and away from the original recording that you’d most likely scour music store shelves for a disco compilation that features the song. Drake’s original recording bolstered the lyrical theme of someone who attempted to tell the rapper that his dreams of making it big were complete hogwash. The lyrics still ring through on Saint Pepsi’s remix, but the theme behind those lyrics are washed away by a tidal wave of seventies-style funk and heavy disco thump.

While feelings on the new single may be as mixed as the artists treatment of the Drake original, one thing that can be certain is that Saint Pepsi has a knack for spinning new twist on already released recordings. Give a listen to the remix here and be sure to browse other remixes done by Saint Pepsi, as they are just as enjoyable as this one.
