The Mark Lanegan Band has released a new song titled, “Harvest Home” from the upcoming album, Phantom Radio.
The track will be one of the 10 songs that will be available on Phantom Radio. After their stint in the New Wave sound, “Harvest Home” goes back to the familiar sound the band has been known for, as mentioned in Consequence of Sound.
After releasing a song from this album over a month ago, listeners will get a much harder sound on this track compared to “Floor of the Ocean.” Although it is focused mostly on the guitars and Lanegan’s raspy voice, some synthesized sounds are meshed throughout the track. The lyrics and sound are much darker, which is something fans can probably expect in Phantom Radio.
“Harvest Home” brings out what Lanegan has been known for. Plus, showing his creativity with sounds since it is known that he used an app to create some drum parts.
The album is set to release on October 21 via Heavenly.
