Homegrown alt-rock/reggae group Pepper has just announced dates for an upcoming Fall tour which launches on November 10.
On the heels of their self-titled 2013 record, Pepper has recently confirmed a series of dates in support of the new album. Supported by both The Movement and New Beat Fund, Pepper will kick off their Fall tour out in the Rialto Theatre in Tuscon. Closing out the tour will be a select few dates in the band’s own Southern California. The new album, Pepper, finds the group expanding their sound beyond the surf rock sound that has been their foundation since the group’s inception. While the surf rock sound remains intact throughout the record, Pepper has also thrown in some reggae influences, perhaps channeling The Police a la Outlandos D’Amour and Regatta De Blanc.
Adding fuel to the fire of this tour, Pepper has also confirmed that every show will offer some sort of VIP package, which will allow for some tighter-knit concert experiences than the standard fare of most tours. Pepper consists of Bret Bollinger on vocals and bass, Kaleo Wassman on vocals and guitar, and Yesod Williams on backing vocals and drums.
