Eyes Set To Kill have been busy touring and have also created a lyric video for their song “Little Liar” from their album Masks which was released in 2013.
The capitalization of the lyrics in the video and the way the words fly onto the screen meet the intensity of the rage that the singer puts into the song as she sings to this “liar.”
The word “liar” twists and turns on the screen when sung, like the world tilting on its access. The background of the video is dark with what looks like dust falling, like the world is crumbling around this liar and the singer who once believed them.
Alexia Rodriguez who wrote this song said the following about it:
I started out writing this song about a woman named “Jodi Arias” who was on trial for brutally killing her boyfriend during the writing process of “Masks”. I found it fascinating that she kept denying and digging a hole deeper for herself by piling lies on top of lies. The whole world knew she was guilty but she still held on to her lies like she would eventually be set free. What I got from the whole story, was that the bigger the lie, the bigger the chances of getting caught. I think a lot of people, including me, have been in relationships where our significant-other has denied everything we have accused them of… only to learn that our gut instinct was correct when it’s too late.

The post-hardcore band from Phoenix is going on tour with the heavy metal band Nonpoint. They also will be doing a “Little Liar” tour and recently announced a South American Tour.
