Usher is headed out on tour this fall, bringing “The UR Experience” tour to 27 cities across North America. He’ll make his way to Philly on November 11th, with a performance at Wells Fargo Center. It has been 3 years since Usher Raymond IV went out on a headlining tour. But things looked promising when Usher recently debuted a new single, “She Came to Give it to You” and performed the track at the MTV VMAs. You catch that performance over here if you haven’t seen it yet. The track features Nicki Minaj with production from Pharrell. It’s the 2nd single off of Usher’s upcoming 8th studio album, UR. (The first single was “Good Kisser” which dropped in May of this year).
The new album was originally slated to be released this month, but just last week Usher told Billboard that he’ll be taking his time with the album and that it “isn’t scheduled anymore.” Usher says, “At the end of the day, all of this is just about having fun. You get in the studio [and] go with how you feel.” In addition to Nicki and Pharrell, the album will also feature guests like Jermaine Dupri, Diplo, Skrillex, Drake, Chris Brown, and Ed Sheeran.
