The Glitch Mob is an American three-piece electronic music group from Los Angeles, California. It is composed of Edward Ma (edIT), Justin Boreta (Boreta), and Josh Mayer (Ooah). Chris Martins of LA Weekly noted that the group has “undoubtedly found the largest audience of any L.A. beat scene artist yet.”

The Glitch Mob formed in 2006 within the LA ‘beat’ scene. They made a name for themselves playing live shows with their laptops, and MIDI controllers like the Lemur. They won their fans over by showcasing their technology during solo performances. After gaining attention in LA, the group toured along the West Coast, and to various festivals worldwide.

The Glitch Mob’s debut album, Drink the Sea, peaked at number 57 on the CMJ top 200 Chart for College Radio. The album’s debut led Electronic Musician to run cover story on the group. The Glitch Mob’s single “Drive It Like You Stole It” was number two on XLR8R’s Top Downloads of 2010 list. The Glitch Mob’s sophomore album, Love Death Immortality, debuted at number one on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
