Grab your tickets now to see him perform when he heads to Philly this November! He’ll be at Underground Arts on 11/18!
Daley, born Gareth Daley, hails from Manchester, England. He got his breakthrough back in 2010 as a guest vocalist on a Gorillaz track “Doncamatic.” He co-wrote the song with Gorillaz founder Damon Albarn. In November of that year, he performed the song solo as part of BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge program and gained himself some recognition within the industry. He released his first EP “Those Who Wait” in June of 2012. The EP contained his newly popular track “Smoking Gun,” which at the time was gaining quite a bit of airplay on British radio.
Daley’s debut album, Days + Nights, dropped in February of this year. This July, he premiered his first single from the album, “Broken.” The new album features production from the likes of Pharrell Williams. Daley says the album is technically “a love album.” Take a listen to the new album and see why this UK singer/songwriter is finally getting the attention he so well deserves. Then grab tickets to see him at Underground Arts this November.
