Daley is a R&B singer-songwriter out of Manchester, England, whose 2014 album Days & Nights has captivated international audiences. Gareth Daley’s breakthrough came at the tail end of 2010 when he provided vocals for Gorillaz track Doncaamatic and soonafter signed to labels Polydor and Universal Republic Records. In 2011 Daley collaborated with UK rapper Wretch 32, and the two wrote the track Long Way Home. Through these two key collaborations, DJs caught on to Daley’s talent, and he eventually released his single Smoking Gun and EP Those Who Wait.
Other popular tracks include his track Game Over, which was produced by Element, and Along Together, which featured a duet between Daley and fellow UK singer-songwriter Marsha Ambrosius, and peaked at #5 on the US R&B charts. Daley’s debut album featured his work with Andre Harris, Pharrell Williams, and Bernard Butler, and Jessie J (their track Remember me reached #24 in the UK), and was released this past February.
