Aaron Carter is an American singer. He became famous as a pop and hip hop artist in the 1990’s, establishing himself as a star among pre-teen and teenage audiences.
Carter began performing at the age of seven as the lead singer of a local band, Dead End. He made his first solo appearance singing a cover of “Crush on You” by The Jets when opening up for the Backstreet Boys in Berlin. The performance led to a record contract, and he recorded and released the cover as his first single. His first full length was released in 1997, and achieved gold status in Norway, Spain, Denmark, Canada, and Germany.
Early this year, Carter went on an 11 city Canadian tour during which he performed brand new songs from his upcoming album for the first time. Carter announced he would be embarking on a worldwide tour titled “Wonderful World Tour.” The tour will include 50 dates and will run from September until January of 2015. On July 19, Carter starred on Good Day LA, where he performed his newest single “Ooh Wee.”
