Run the Jewels are heading out on tour this fall. And they’ll be making a special Halloween appearance in Philly. You can catch their show on Halloween night at The TLA. The guys will be out supporting their newest album, their sophomore release, RTJ2.
In addition to dropping the album cover, they’ve also released the 11 song tracklist. You can except some pretty exciting guest appearances, including Zack de la Rocha (of Rage Against the Machine) and Travis Barker (of Blink 182). The album will drop just a few days before their Halloween gig, on October 28th. It’s being released via Mass Appeal Records. Then next year, they’ll release the remix album, via Fool’s Gold.
Run the Jewels is made of up two guys. Killer Mike and El-P. Their released their self-titled debut in 2013. That June, they released the album as a free digital download. The album was described as a true collaboration, based upon mutual understanding between the two rappers. If you’re still looking for something to do this Halloween, look no further than The TLA. Grab your tickets (when they go on sale tomorrow) and see Killer Mike and El-P when they take over the stage on 10/31.
