WATCH: Lights Releases New Video For “Up We Go”

In anticipation of her third studio album Little Machines due out September 23rd, Lights has debuted a new video for the track “Up We Go.” This is the first single off the new album released via Warner Brother Records. The album was produced by Drew Pearson and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent (Madonna, U2, Beyonce). The brand new music video for the single premiered on Noisey today, who called the track, “perhaps [Lights’] biggest banger to date – sparkling, anthemic, amped up synth-pop.”

The music video opens with the Canadian pop singer walking onto an elevator in a crop top, blue military jacket and strongly sideswept hair, hands casually in her pockets as she belts out the anthemic tune. The elevator stops on each floor to welcome some new oddballs and degenerates, visiting surreal universes as they go up, ending at a top floor party before the doors close and elevator music cuts in and the camera pans out to reveal the video set and the return to reality.
