No Devotion has released a new video for their song, “Eyeshadow”, from the band’s debut single. And, No Devotion will also be hitting the road this fall.
No Devotion is a project of Thursday’s former frontman, Geoff Rickly, with the remaining members of the now-disbanded Lostprophets. The tour they are doing this fall will show off the band’s style as both a supporting act, for the Neon Trees, and a headlining act at several venues.
The new music video for “Eyeshadow” is stylized as a performance video with the band rocking out onstage. It kicks off with a tight drum sequence, which would be highly effective in getting fans excited in concert. Then, the rest of the band comes in for the remainder of the opening music. Next, Rickly adds his strong rock vocals to the mix.
The video has a slightly eerie quality with the ever-changing stage lighting, and also the alternating camera angles. However, the videographer does something which enhances the viewing experience. After capturing the band members expressions through close ups, there are a series of shots looking up at the band that manages to make viewers feel that they are right at the foot of the stage.
