Musician Hank 3 will be hitting the road this fall. This tour will take Hank 3 through the plains, the southwest, and California, before wrapping up in the mountains of Colorado in October.

Hank 3 (sometimes stylized as Hank III) is Shelton Hank Williams. Shelton is the grandson of country music legend, Hank Williams, and son of country outlaw, Hank Williams, Jr. Hank 3 has pursued a career in country music. But, also in keeping with family tradition, Hank 3 has conducted his career in his own unique fashion, because in addition to a career as a country outlaw, he has a fondness for punk music and has released several punk records.
The 2014 fall tour will support his 2013 releases: the double album outlaw country record Brothers of the 4×4, and A Fiendish Threat, a punk record that’ll throw anyone looking for family tradition into a tailspin.
“I never have done a lot of the mass commercial stuff, so there’s a lot of people who still have no idea who the hell Hank 3 is,” Williams said in a phone interview with Nashville Scene. “You either get it, or you don’t.”
