Sunset Strip Music Festival Announces Additional Artists To Play on The Hip Hop Stage

Sunset Strip Music Festival 2014 is expanding! The festival’s press release has just announced the bunch of artists playing newly added Murs 316 hip-hop stage September 20 and 21 alongside the main stage lineup.

Murs 316 Stage curated and hand-picked by Murs features headliners DJ Quik, Bun B, Riff Raff, Dizzy Wright and Killer Mike, plus many more. The well-known MC held his first sold-out show at The Roxy in 2003 and celebrates The Strip by creating the first ever dedicated hip-hop stage at SSMF.

Sunset Strip Music Festival 2014 kicks off on Friday, September 19 at the House of Blues Sunset Strip with Jane’s Addiction being honored with the Elmer Valentine Award. This award celebrates the music and icons that have made an impact on the legacy of The Strip.

Taking place on Sunset Blvd. between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard, the two-day street fest will include three outdoor stages, interactive experiences, food, drinks and more, transforming The Sunset Strip into the concert-goers oasis.
