Smallpools have been non-stop recently, and now they’re headed out on a fall tour in support of their self-titled debut EP. They’ll be here on October 29th. You can catch them along with openers Magic Man and Waters when they play The TLA.
The EP has been out for a year now, but don’t worry, a full-length is in the works. The band is currently in the studio working on the record. Their stardom has been rising quickly, due largely to their hit single “Dreaming.” The song charted at number one on The Hype Machine and has helped to build a steady amount of buzz for the relatively new band. Reaching number one happened before they had even celebrated their one year anniversary as a band. Frontman Sean Scanlon says, “We’re flattered that everyone is reacting the way that they are – we definitely didn’t expect the reaction to be this good.”
You’ll definitely want to make sure you head to The TLA early so you don’t miss the exciting openers that Smallpools has in store for fans. Magic Man released their debut full-length just last month. They had already received some success from their single “Paris,” which peaked at #33 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. They’ve been out touring with Panic! At the Disco and Walk the Moon. Check them out when they hit the stage this October!
